Sirus has been practicing as a litigator since 2013, during which time he has enjoyed a diverse practice defending complex insurance matters involving motor vehicle accidents, fire losses, slip-and-falls, professional negligence and occupiers’ and tavern liability, as well as accident benefits disputes. Sirus also has extensive experience pursuing property subrogation and affirmative litigation cases seeking damages for fraud and fraudulent misrepresentation. To that end, Sirus has successfully represented insurers before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.
