Litigation is adversarial in nature. However, mediation gives the parties an opportunity to have an honest and confidential conversation about the issues in dispute.
Mediation is an important step for parties in lawsuits for a number of reasons. Parties are experiencing unprecedented delays in reaching the inside of a courtroom. This makes it harder and harder for individuals to get access to justice. Mediation puts the power in the hands of the parties, providing a level of control that is unavailable in a typical courtroom setting. Mediation is a cost effective way to streamline the litigation and minimize the risks associated with trial.
I have been involved in countless mediations and have found that the most effective ones involve a frank discussion of the issues. Parties deserve more than someone who will just pass a number back and forth. When selected as your mediator, I will encourage a respectful conversation about the strengths and weaknesses of the case. I will work tirelessly and use every tool at my disposal to resolve your claim. I would welcome the opportunity to mediate your claim today.
